The "Ford News"
I had seen service bulletins, but I just got 31 issues (28-30) of the 'Ford News'. I had never see them. Very interesting reading, great articles. One of them is de the announcement of the town car.
Are these in any way rare, (all of eBay I only found 3) and are there people who collect, or trade for double copies I have. Thank you |

1. FORD NEWS, October 1927 through 1931. These bulletins were a series of publications which came out twice a month on about the 1st and the 15th of each month through March 1931. Starting with the April 1931 edition, the Ford News was published once every month thereafter. Issues were sent to Ford dealers throughout the world and could be made available for a subscription price of fifty cents a year or about $0.02 for each copy and $0.04 starting with the April 1931 issue. In addition to this, special binders to store copies of the Ford News in could have been had for $1.25 each. And yes, there are collectors...I have all the issues except they are copies of the original which suits me just fine. Pluck |
