Default 48 ford f2 flathead v8 heater hose routing

i have a 48 ford f2 pickup and need to install my heater core hoses to engine . it has a top outlet and a bottom (not side by side)is exact set up from a 51 ford flathead is this same as for a 48>?

sry, i meant is set up as same for a a 50 ford deluxe custom 2 door sedan as attacment pic shows. my set up is same on fire wall as pic.

If you mean, does the supply from cylinder head go on the upper connection, return on lower; that is opposite of usual. Having the supply come in the lower part of the core will push air out the top connection. It may also depend on which heater you have, is it a MagicAir?
