Re: picked up a 1935 pickup project
the Flathead is almost done, just waiting on some small parts to come back from the machine shop. I finally managed to meet up with Henry, to swap the 37 heads for my original 35 heads. They are at the machine shop to be checked and cleaned up and they are bead blasting some small parts like exhaust manifolds, motor mounts, etc.
Then there comes the great guys on here. Got to give a shout out to Charlie in NY. He took my carb that was on this truck when it last ran in '61 and gave it a new lease on life. Thanks!!

Re: picked up a 1935 pickup project
Working on the bed and rear fenders now. This old girl will have zero rot when I am done but still look like an old farm truck. Blending the paint to the old has been fun!

Re: picked up a 1935 pickup project
Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate it. The paint has been the hardest/most fun thing to do yet. Took awhile to figure out how to match it but it is turning out nice.

Re: picked up a 1935 pickup project
Thanks guys, it has been fun so far. The front stake pockets were just to rough to save. Gotta love new stake pockets! These are from Mack Products. They are great but they did miss a step, as seen in the pic but for the money, a great quality part that fit right with minimal effort.
