New to me 1964 Falcon Hardtop
I've always liked the 64/65 Hardtops since they came out when I was a junior in high school.. This one has a 289 3spd but I have a toploader 4spd to install.. Any other 63-65 Hardtops out there...

I don't have one but I do like the falcons in general. 60-65. I have always really liked the styling. My son is looking at a 63 wagon. Yours Very nice car. Enjoy.

Re: New to me 1964 Falcon Hardtop
Sleeper! Sweet cars! I had a '60 2 dr. Gave $100.00 for it in 1967 at Johnnies Used Cars, Richmond, Va. Had a 144, 3 speed on the floor. If you ever heard a falcon exhaust you could pick it out in the dark years later. haha Then I went to '65 Mustangs (3).

Milo, great looking car. I like all of the body styles. Had a 67 6 cyl in the 70's that was a great car. Wish I still had it.

Re: New to me 1964 Falcon Hardtop
I also like the first and third generation Falcons.. I think Ford made the hood longer and the deck lid shorter on the third generation Falcon to compete with the Mustang but it didn't work.. Cool cars though.. I like the top on the 63 2 dr sedan and love the 63 1/2 hardtops.. I guess I like all the Falcons.. When I got the 64 and parked it in my garage it appeared bigger than I remember...

Re: New to me 1964 Falcon Hardtop
I had a '65 Falcon 2 door sedan, 170 CI, 3 speed, bone stock. Ex wife took it in the divorce in 1979... promised me she'd sell it to me if she got rid of it.... but noooooo.. she traded it in towards a Mustang II Cobra...

Would love a 64 Convert. I have been looking but have not found the right one, I always seem to want to save the ones in distress!
