30 pickup fender welt
Anyone have pics of their fender, running board and apron welting. My 30 pickup was pretty much coming apart when I bought it and the welting was hit and miss. I've looked in ALL my books, on line and on this forum but cant really find anything that will help me.

Re: 30 pickup fender welt
Not sure about trucks but the judging standards says for 1930 cars that the front fenders used gas tank welting and regular fender welting in the rear fenders. I'm guessing trucks are the same. Doesn't cost any more to do it right.

Yes that is true about the front fender welts as the fender & apron were assembled as a unit and then sent down to to the assembly line for installation. |
