Posting for my Dad . He is 92 and is not using his car any more , wants to sell to a good home his 1955 Crown Victoria Skyliner GlassTop . The car has 28,000 actual miles , Fordomatic , Power Steering , Skirts , Rear antenna , Wide Whites and was converted to 12 volt . M car , red & white . The original owner blew the engine in 1958 and parked it until about 1990 . We installed a rebuilt 292 , rebuilt transmission , ABC interior . Less than 1,000 miles since . When these cars were more valuable , he turned down 50 k . Price now , 40 k / offer . It is a lot of money , may take a partial Ford trade - in to facilitate sale . Call me , let ' s make a deal on the car . It needs to be used and enjoyed . This car was never rusted or wrecked .
