Re: WTB. 1940 Ford Tudor/Coupe Front Seat
Thanks SwoopNZ
The one I need is the Tudor version, being split bench type. I have 39/40 Merc tudor seat, but unfortunately too wide, and I really dont want to cut a perfect seat up, just for the sake of making it fit ,so the advert in wanting to get the right one instead. |

Re: WTB. 1940 Ford Tudor/Coupe Front Seat
Some '40 coupes had a split front seat kinda like a 2 dr sedan. The ones with a split backrest also had a pair of jump seats in the rear, known around here as Opera Coupes as opposed to Business Coupe.
I have a seat for sale still in a '40 2 dr but I'm not on the left coast, well maybe kinda on the left coast, if the Mississippi river is large enough to have coasts!!!! 636 274 30 nine six THANX RICH |

Re: WTB. 1940 Ford Tudor/Coupe Front Seat
hotrodfreak----I think a 40 Fordor has a one piece back, so does a 40 wagon, so do some coupes. But each seat is unlike the other. Then there is convert which is different than Tudor sedan which is different than split back coupe. Lots of possibilities, some wider, some narrower, some with rear footrests, etc. FWIW
