Default steering gears

Are all 5 to1 gears sets marked?
Also witch pinion shaft gets the longer pin in relation to the keyway ??

all the 5:1 gears I have seen are marked with the number five on them. The steering shaft is also .The long pin goes under the area that has a raised mark on it.

I sold this original set of 5:1 gears on eBay a couple weeks ago. None of the gears were marked. The center part that includes the shaft had the number "5" stamped on it.
