Default 66 mustang

I m picking up a 66 mustang convertible this weekend it is a sprint model according to the owner my question is it has round marker lights in the fenders and quarter panels was this an option or aftermarket add on as i suspect will post pics when i get it home 6cyl 3 speed bone stock green with black gut all apart now so i have another car in a box rolling body

Not OEM. No side lamps until 1968.

Id doesn't seem logical for someone to have added them. Could it be that the car was manufactured for the Canadian market?

I'm thinking ... ... that what the OP is describing is that period MOPAR lamps, small round with a chrome bezel.

Popular upgrade during that period for some reason.
