Crankshaft pulley Key
After removing the crankshaft pulley on a 59a it appears that roughly 1/2 of the key had been chiseled of flush with the crankshaft snout leaving barely enough to engage the pulley keyway. Any easy way to remove the remaining key from the crankshaft keyway? I'm afraid this could have been a grenade getting ready to explode. Wonder if NAPA might have the correct replacement key or is this something I'll have to special order? Thanks guys!

Re: Crankshaft pulley Key
Usually by tapping on one end, you can get it to lift up enough to pry it out.
NAPA RFD 80475 is the part # for an 8BA http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Re...Dp%3d3%26N%3d0

Re: Crankshaft pulley Key
Take a punch about the size of the width of the key, hammer the back of the key down and it will roll up on the front and you can get a grip on it with a pair of dikes and pull it out. Walt
