Gar, if you add a pencil filter and these you will be all set to drive it like you stole it.

I love blue but have seen some really nice pictures of maroon but maybe cream yellow will look best?

Can't wait for next spring when the car shows and meet ups start again.
Picking a color should be easy. According to my older copy of the judging standards there were only about 37 factory colors to choose from. I assuming from the one piece splash aprons that your truck is a 1931.

Where, in general, are you located?

Welcome to the Barn.

Good looking truck, drive it and enjoy it.

It almost looks too good to do a complete restoration on it. May be in the mean time, you will find another Model A that does need a complete restoration and during the process, you will still have a Model A that you can drive.

I don’t have to choose colors.
I ask my wife, paint it the color she says and never have to listen to @$&*# about having too many old cars.
I have six. Plus two daily drivers.

Welcome, post lots of pics of your restoration and keep us involved...… great color as it is now. Keep everything as "stock" as you can. Don't add extra filters and diode lights and gauges and stuff, keep your "A" simple and it will run thousands of maintenance free miles. These things can get temperamental enough, don't make it worse for yourself.

Welcome to our world. When it is time to paint, paint it any color YOU like. But to me the original colors are the most striking, the truck will look like it came from the 1930"s but the paint will also have that 1930"s look. just my op. ken

whitewall tires on a truck = lipstick on a pig.

For some reason, I don't get notified when a post is added to something I had posted in and I'm just going through some old postings and saw yours.

Yes, it's a great color that actually has grown on me now and I don't think I will change it. It looks just like your color. What is your color called?

That's exactly what I'm hoping for. I'm on the hunt for a "barn find" that I can work on with the understanding I'm going to lose a spot in my garage for the next 8 to 10 years. My wife would like a roadster with a rumble seat but 2 door sedans are pretty easy to find.

It's a '30. I'm in Grand Rapids, MI. I should add it to my tag line.

Garwood NICE pickup I love it!!

'30-'31's would be my choice hands down for a Model A Ford pickup.

It looks cool as-is, whether you change out the color or not. Nice looking little A. Keep us posted on what you do, and have a good summer. Driving season is upon us!!!
