Good rubber parts
A buddy wants to replace the cab mount rubber on a 66 pickup. I have read about some terrible quality rubber parts in the supply system now. Where is a good place to buy made in USA rubber parts for a reasonable price?

Re: Good rubber parts
Don I used all new body mount rubber pads when I put my '55 Courier body back on the frame. Drove car for ten years and it has sat abandoned for another four. Recently pulled body off again to do some work on fuel line. The rubber pads were like brand new still. Those pads came from Concours Parts in Nevada.

Re: Good rubber parts
Ten years ago most rubber products were USA made,in the last three years offshore garbage is showing up everywhere thanks to over regulation here at home by the EPA.Sadly since folks like lower prices in a competitive marketplace companies have had to go elsewhere to satisfy that demand. You might try here:http://www.soffseal.com/store/Main.aspx?html=about The majority of vendors will supply Dennis Carpenter products who has cut production of USA made goods in favor of off shore, best advice do not order blindly online use your phone and ask where it comes from before you order. Here is a link:https://www.google.com/#q=USA+made+r...s+classic+cars Now it's time to pick up that phone and please report back if you get lucky.

Re: Good rubber parts
I'm changing the cab on my 66 (from a rust bucket to a generally rust free one) & the original mounts are still solid without sinking or any cracks, so I plan to re-use them. The radius rod bushings are bad on two of my three trucks but NOS Ford sets are still plentiful, so I got 5 sets.
