Float adjustment on "B" carb
Anyone have the procedure and "specs" to adjust the float level on a Model "B" carb with a round float? Thanks!

I'm not a B person, but there's a banger section on the HAMB where you might try posting this.

Re: Float adjustment on "B" carb
I'm not sure if there is any differrence in the setting based on float type, but the info I have from the "B" service bulletins (Fig 12 pg 9) is that the operating level should be 5/8" down from the top of the bottom casting. This can be measured with a clear plastic line attached to an adapter made from a bolt and screwed into the drain plug and then bent around to allow you to put it up against the casting and then compare the level in the tube to the 5/8" spec.
