Default Steering Column Anti-Rattle

I just discover that my steering column is a bit loose at the bracket on gas tank. So, my question is Originally, am I correct in saying that this rubber "Anti-Rattle" was a flat piece of rubber to go all the way around the column AND a rib both on top and bottom of this piece?

I looked at Snyder's, Bratton's and Bert's BUT ALL are just a flat piece of rubber.

It's kind of hard to see in Bratton's picture, but there are ribs or flanges along the long edges of the piece so that the rubber slightly wraps over the clamp.
