A & L parts in Canton / New hartford CT

Anyone been up to A&L parts in CT lately ?? took a ride to drop off a radiator at Valley Radiator in Canton, thought I would stop by A&L for some parts for my Dad. Address I got off the interent was wrong, ended up being in New Hartford , not Canton. I found the building , but by then it was closed. Phone number went to a fax machine. They still in business? I saw that a couple years ago the old man died, and the family was still running the business ?

As far as I know still in business and thriving. His son has taken over and nothing's changed. I was there a few months ago.
Try 860-693-2620 , my catalog says 8am-6pm EST weekdays.

Allen and Bob worked for Al for many years. Allen and Bob are currently running the business, and doing a fantastic job. They are great folks and make great parts. I assure you they are still in business, now in their 4th decade. I dont believe they do much walk in business, but we purchase from them every week thru UPS, and appriciate their great parts and great service.

They are good folks and sell good stuff. I just got an order from them last week. I wish they had on line ordering but I'm happy with the service they give over the phone. Good quality and quick shipping.

Mailing address is Canton, but shop is in New Hartford. I remember when Al told us at a club meeting that he was going to start reproducing hard to find parts, back in the 60's.

I just bought a couple of grease seals for my rear drums from A&L. I've been told that they are the only vendors that sell rear drum grease seals that fit without modification.
