Default Employee Badge 7473

Hi All,
I have a Ford Dearborn Plant employee badge number 7473. Is there any Ford archives or ways to search any information on this employee? I know there are a few historians on this forem so I thought to just ask.
Thanks to all of you for your awesome friendliness and expertise.
Regards, The Geezer

P.S. Looking for a 31 A drag link...FOUND ONE!

That badge style started being used in 1937 and was used up through 1966. (from the reference book Ford Worldwide Employee Badges, ID Cards, Passes & Permits)

If you're trying to ID the person(s) assigned that ID number it is probably fairly difficult. You could try contacting the Benson Ford Research Center (https://www.thehenryford.org/collections-and-research/) to see if they have those records.

They are protective of employee records. I tried to get info on my uncles career. He was a V.P. and ended up running the Cleveland casting plant. He died 20+ years ago and they would not release/confirm any info.

Thanks for the reply. I certainly understand that, especially these crazy days. I was just curious. They had no info on the employee as you expected.

The Benson Ford center only has record of the Rouge and Highland Park from the 1940's-present. If they worked there, they can only verify but won't let you see the records.
