The information you need is here: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/g...hp?groupid=332 if you join we can direct you to it there are even pictures of the install. If you have a 50's Ford we also have an EZ money saving way to convert the drums to self-adjusting brakes.

On a drum/drum setup, the port closest to the firewall goes to the front brakes, the farther port to the rear brakes. To double check me, which you should do since I've forgotten already what I had for breakfast, look in a FoMoCo shop manual for the brake system schematics. There's usually a nice rendering of the brake system and routings of the lines, from the master cylinder on down.

This only applies if it is the original M/cyl. If using a later model dual reservoir m/cyl Ford switched the large/small reservoir back and forth over the years and with different models. They all bolt up the same to the firewall but may have different reservoir placement as well as different holes where the lines screw in (Ford used both sides depending on year as well).

Sites like rockauto.com can be very useful if swapping parts because they will show pictures and sometimes have technical info as to threads etc.
