Default Ford Kerosene Lamp Identification (PICS)

I purchased this old Ford Head Light a few years ago at a sale, and as I recall I think I payed $25 for it. I was wondering if someone know what year Model T it came off of?

The light is a karosene lit lamp and on the back it says Ford-O and below that it says T J C L Co.

If I could find out what year and model of the Model T's that would be great!

Thanks!

Its a 23 to 26 tail light. Worth about what you payed. It would have been used on Model T's that did not have a electric generator/starter. Someone has changed out the red lens. This model would have had a small red lens in the side and the large clear lens would light up the license plate.

With the stud coming out of the side, it is actually a TT truck taillight. They mounted different than the car lights and had the big clear lens pointing to the side instead of pointing to the rear. The small lens points to the rear. The big clear lens is correct for this type of light. Its worth about what you paid for it or a little more.

It would have been used on both cars or trucks after 1923 that did not have starter and generator.
