I am interested in selling a slightly used rebuilt Model A engine. This is an engine that my grandfather had rebuilt by Charlie Blunt in south Texas.

It was a crack free block with a counterbalanced crank shaft & a “B” grind on the cam. Both the block and crank were in the car when purchased and was previously machined by Roe in Fort Worth. Anyone who has been a long time Model A’re in Texas knows the quality that Roe put into his engines & balancing the crankshafts.

The engine is babbit bearings. It has around 2,000 miles on it.

The story is: my grandpa had this engine rebuilt for his ‘30 town sedan. My brother & I were using both of his cars & he wanted to have a spare engine incase an engine went out suddenly. So he pulled this one out of the ‘30 town sedan & replaced it with a new higher performance inserted engine- and then this one would be on the stand & already broken in Incase we needed it for an emergency.

Pawpaw has been gone for 8 years and we have not used the engine since. I need the money and the room more than I need the engine. Comes with the head & pan as shown. It does turn over- just went out to the garage to verify.
