Aaca Museum
Stopped by the aaca Museum yesterday afternoon. Mostly Trucks up to 1987
I did see a vw rabbit,80 something chrysler LeBaron. Cars from the 30,40,50 era (good stuff) are in another building. They have special tour times and a additional fee to see those. Normally we spend 2 hours in the museum. Took us 30min this time. |

Re: Aaca Museum
We "Antique Car" lovers are a dying breed, literally! Yesterday I drove my '31 "A" roadster to the local Cruise-In: Dade City, Fla. My "A" and a 1930 Chevrolet were the only original vintage cars there among 50-60 muscle cars, modified cars and 'special interest'* cars .
Bob-A "To Ride, Shoot Straight and Speak the Truth" J. Cooper *Note: Back in the 60's the AACA referred all post WWII cars as 'special interest'. |

Be interesting (but mot enough for me to go look!) to see the financials of the entity. Often these things are “too heavy” with admin. I dunno |

It's not hard to find out about how non-profits are run. I looked up the AACA Museum on Charity Navigator and it comes out pretty well. FWIW https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/251716419

Re: Aaca Museum
I go to that museum a couple of times a year. They have exhibits that revolve once a year or so. A lot of the stuff is the same but the new stuff keeps things on their toes. I can easily spend a couple of hours in that place. I look over everything pretty close even if I have seen it before. I had a few motorcycles displayed in there a couple of years ago. And YES if you are an AACA member its free.

Re: Aaca Museum
I am not cool as I can be, been once and am in Williamsport. I plan to do it again and should attend annually. Am in the panhandle winters and will travel to events in central fl. Will have to trailer as the big road traffic is hostile.
