Default Gasket / seal maker

Assisting a friend in cleaning up brake, parking, signal and clearance lights. Wanting to avoid having to buy all the gaskets for all the lights. Is there a good sealant/gasket maker that can be used yet will allow the lens to be removed later to replace burnout bulbs

Got the old gaskets? Go to a auto parts store and get some gasket material and make your own.

paul2748 is on it. Some hobby and hardware stores also often sell cork in sheets. Be sure its a fine-grained cork so it bends, compresses and holds-together better than the course-grained stuff. I've tried other gasket materials but while often more water resistant, found they typically don't compress like cork does. I use the old gasket or lens as a pattern and cut the cork with an exacto knife for a sharp edge.
