KEY??? 28 ar model A

Ok guys
We went to start my 28 AR roadster pickup with a popout switch and realized we lost the key! Yikes...talked to a locksmith who would not touch it. A friend is bringing down his collection of A keys to try. How many different A keys are there? Try a different locksmith? The the popout all apart and out of the car?
Any suggestions?

I brought a rumble seat locking handle to my locksmith and he was able to make a key for it, so im sure if you bring your popout to one they should be able to make a key.. I use Goldy Locks in Illinois don't know if they are elsewhere..

For 1928 & up to 1930 the key #s go from #801 thru #1050.. If it is apart, what is the # on the key hole cyl. side A---. Get that and call as stated above.. P.S. There is not a "AR" Model A made..

Here's the number location. Good idea to write it on the title card or somewhere safe.

A&L can cut you a new key using the number.
