I remember seeing this film about 20 years ago.
1956 film starring a young Benny Hill called "Who done it".

Most of the street scenes feature his girlfriend's 32 3W. I didn't recognise the model at first because of the subtle changes that partially disguise it.

Sorry to say but I remember the car getting trashed when it "accidentally" runs onto a stock car track in the big chase scene at the end. Stock car racing (not the US style) was the latest big thing in the UK in the mid fifties.
