Happy birthday Ron. Now that it looks like we're going to have some Spring weather I've had thoughts of taking a friend out to lunch. Since you're celebrating these incredable milestones in years and posts you're the man. I'll be in touch.

Happy birthday Ron and thanks for allowing me to visit you in 2013 and for treating my wife and I to the "best burger in Chester" along with Chuck Lesard.

Happy Birthday Ron! Thanks for sharing your wisdom and experience with us. I have your book and treasure it. If my math is correct you were born right around the same time our Flatty's were born. No wonder we all like you so much! Lol

I hope you have a real real happy one, Ron. You have always made me feel like you are my number 1 fan of my travelogues. If you were the only one reading them I'd still do them just for you. I wish you were going with me to Alaska. What a ball we'd have. It's not too late, still three weeks away.

Have a Happy Birthday Ron and many more to you!! Just think how many of us you have helped in making those 5000 posts. I am sure with all the help you have given here and elsewhere, plus the many folks who have been helped by reading your book, you have helped change the course of history by bringing the Flathead back into focus. How many other 84 year old engine designs are still around today providing basic transportation and enjoying the popularity of our beloved Flathead Ford V-8? I can't think of another.

Many Happy Returns Ol' Ron. I always enjoy reading your posts. I looked up the names of famous people from Chester, Vermont. Found 3 politicians, 1 bureaucrat, 1 economist, 1 chemist, 1 Marine Corps general, and 2 preachers.
Somehow, they missed the machinists, engineers, mechanics, car racers, authors and philosophers. When they put you in the list, it will be complete.
Have a Happy Birthday today and lots and lots more down the line.
