Nice find!

It may have been built in 1913 and registered as a '13 but that is a 1914 body. 1913 doors extend all the way to the splash aprons.

The windshield is 1914 as well as evidenced by the drip along the bottom of the top half and the bowed support arms to allow for folding inward. 1913 windshields fold toward the front.

The hood is 1915 or later...'13-14 had no louvers.

Please post more pics.

Here are pics of my 1914 touring for comparison. I am the third owner. When I got it, it was originally registered as a 1913 but both engine and body are March 1914.

Wick .......................
Tell us a little bit about it's history. Was it a barn find ? Or was a collector just holding it for years, etc. ?
Thanks,
MIKE

The fenders look like 13, the side lamps are 13, the 14 style body came into use about August 13 - the original 13 body style had some serious problems in the rear door area that, after several attempts to improve it, was replaced by the 14 stlye earlier than planned. The 14 style windshield was likely introduced at the same time.
The hood is definitely later but that is a 10 second change . Obviously a previous owner did some upgrading on the car & louvers might be an improvement. It also
has aftermarket shock absorber devices.

The engine number will be a clue as to when the car was built.

In any case it is a great find & will be a lot of fun just as it is!

Thanks.....The Engine # is August of 1913. The spring shocks are also on the rear.
Theres a foot controlled cut out (works) The carb is a later model 1926?
Old dried mud still under the fenders. Top Irons are perfect, material is gone. The old boot covers it all up. Pass running board is a little week (bent suport rod).
