Electric wipe motor
When servicing the gear box, what type of grease should be used?

Re: Electric wipe motor
Something light enough to not require unnecessary motor torque while the gears are engaging, yet thick enough to cling to the gears to provide lubrication at all times. I have used Lubriplate on several occasions however I also have never had to use one of those wipers for prolong periods to know how the lube held up.

Re: Electric wipe motor
I hope I am not guilty of hijacking this thread but I am wondering why Ford changed from electric wiper motors to vacuum operated ones. Anyone know?
