Default Electric wiper motor

When driving the wiper blade seems to fall slowly while not in use. It seems that it snaps into a holding spot when up & not in use. Is mine worn or should I be looking at something else?

Mine will do the same thing. I think the spring is weak in my case, my wiper only wipes with water on the windshield, needs the lubrication. However, this only happens to me when I turn off the wiper and manually move it up to the top of the windshield. Is that the case for you as well?

mine wipes all the time when turned on. I can feel what seems to be a tab when I move it to the top but does not hold there
