John LaVoy has started a series in his Model A Times magazine about installing an automatic tranny in a Model A. The Fall 2020 issue is the start of the information.

I think one reason that this automatic / engine combination works is that the Model A has a 200 cubic inch engine with alot of low speed torque.

Some folks have a bad experience because they use small engine which has to be revved up so high before it makes any usable torque.
