The late 31 CCPU with indented firewall has different dimensions than the 30-mid 31 model. Here are the dimensions for the late 31:

Late 31 Truck Cushion from Snyders:

39 ¾ across the front, 41 ¾ across the back, 17 ¼ front to back. 6 “ high coils in the front , tapering to 5” rear
Backrest is the same for either Late 31 or earlier 30-31
46 ¾ across the top, 45 ¼ across the bottom, 16 ¾ top to bottom. 4 inch coils on the top row and bottom, 5 inch in the
middle two rows.
Yes, trucks are very tight quarters.
