Those are cool, I've only seen a couple over the years. I have owned a couple Gordon Smith model A conversions, much more common. The last one I had was used on Mt. Rushmore.

Given it's history, the block is probably not cracked. Depending what it is, it might be worth taking a chance on.

These look interesting. So they cast a different intake and heads? Do they still have the engine valves in the air cylinders and just leave the lifters out? Ok I went and searched. Looks to be mention of plugs in the ports. Just curious as to what they would sound like running. http://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showth...hlight=schramm

The engine Louisville is a good buy , I would like it for spares at that price. The first 1 you started thread about is now in Charlotte , I couldn't help myself ! It is a raised intake block possibly a1940 model Schramm, too bad the valves in the heads are missing as otherwise it is super complete.
