8BA timing cover/ Delco dizzy hold down
Im installing a french block motor with a delco dizzy. 8BA timing cover. I had a 1/4-20 bolt tapped into the shaft housing for a hold down. this isn't gonna do it.
There is a flat on the head adjacent but no hole for any sort of attachment device. This metal the block is made of is pretty stout stuff. I have to tap some holes for the oil filter and I'm afraid I'll break a tap in the hole. Any suggestions on what I need? |
