Leatherback top just tacked on?
Am I understanding it correctly?
The top on my leatherback is simply laid over padding, stretched and tacked down around the edges? I want to make sure there are no adhesives used as I need to remove the gutters for repair and while they are off I want to "peel back" the top at the front corners to repair a bad spot of wood where a missing clip allowed it to be exposed. Any special trick to the separating the gutter from its inner mounting rail? |

What kind of leatherback do you have - a special coupe or a fordor? I have a 28 special coupe that I know about the top on it.
