Tie rod end zerks
Do the zerks on the tie rod ends point to the front of the car or back?

Re: Tie rod end zerks
Per the Judging Standards. From early 1928 to October 1930, the tie rod grease fittings were threaded, facing the front of the vehicle. From Nov 30 to end of production they were a press in type and faced the rear of the vehicle. Early, early tie rods didn't have grease fittings. So....depends on the month and year of you car.

Well too a point...
The 2 tie rod bolts are always to the BACK.. There are different styles of tie rod ends. |
