Default window regulator

how do i free up a window regulator that has rusted?

I would remove it and soak it in rust penetrating fluid. Use a stiff bristled parts cleaning brush to help remove some of the rust as it loosens up. It might take a week or so, but it should loosen up.

Soak in evaporust or like. May take a stiff brushing and resoak. Vinegar will work but talked longer.
