have one engine out there still running with a Max #1 cam and the short springs and rotators. I shimmed thes short springs for 50Lbs and checked coil bind. This engine has been running now for about 8 years so far. People that put together these engines depend on us old timers to test the waters and try new things and report back on our FAILURES. I try my best.

Hi John; It worked for me too. My problem is I don't know why mine didn't, so I'll get some help before I try again. Thanks, Craig.
