Default My 36 Fordor project.

Hello everyone,
Episode 12 is up. It’s by far the longest, possibly most boring episode so far, but I do finally get the engine out. From the get go, my motto on this project has been “the work will teach you how”.

I have put a “speed indicator“ up in the right hand corner so you can skip the “sped up stuff“ if you’d like.

At least skip to 38:00 and help me out with a question I have.

I’d love To hear more feed back on the videos, the content, the format or any thing you might have to say!

Thanks
Mike T

It’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted any videos. I’ve managed to string together and post a couple here recently. 13 and 15 are both videos of recently purchased parts and 14 is some footage of a mini field trip to see some gasser drags this past summer. Not truly flathead oriented, but I thought people might like to see some oldfashion style gassers.

I hope to have a video up soon wrapping up some of the engine assembly.

Episode #13 “What’s in the box!?”

Episode #14 “Let’s go to the drags”

Episode #15 “Pieces parts”

I look forward to everyone’s questions and feed back.
Thanks everyone for checking out Mike’s 36 Fordor project!

.

Thank you much for the short visit back to "REAL" drag racing like I remember from the '60s! DD

Thanks coopman. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
I was born in ‘71 and probably am the reason my dad had to get out of the activity, but my brother who was born 12 years before me grew up through all off that. You can hear him explaining to our friend at the end of the video... he got “the drag racing dad...” I got the woodworking, golfing dad. Lol.

But man, Something about the noise and the smell. Wish I could have included some burnt rubber scent in my videos.

Take care
