I'm not into electronic distributors on the old Fords, They run
perfect with the original parts if set up on a Ford machine.
Skip made some special coils for the guy in Ca. before he closed
down. They had an extra wire to supply voltage to the electronics.

I have 2 of Skip's coils on 12 volts with Pertronix ignitions. No extra wire. No problems

I'm a bit confused. I have a 6v 59A with an electronic module and a petronix coil. Jim had said on another thread that the coil shouldn't be more than 1.5ohms but .6 is too low? what is the perfect ohm coil? If I have the .6ohm coil should I use some type of resistor to get the amps down?
