steering ajustment ?
When I think my 2 tooth steering is ajust right on when the front wheels are off the ground. I put the front end on the ground and it takes 2 men and a boy to turn the wheel. What up with that!. I heard some where that bad front (sagging) springs sometimes make steering very hard. It was just as bad when I had the 7 tooth steering in it. SO how can I tell if the springs are effecting it. Re: steering ajustment ?
Is the car moving when you are turning the steering wheel, if not
it will be very hard to turn. Bob |

Re: steering ajustment ?
Sounds like you need the bearings for the king pins. If the spindle drags against the axle, it will be hard to turn.
Also, what Bob just said. I never turn the steering wheel unless the car is moving, even if it's very slowly. |

Re: steering ajustment ?
I check the king pin bearings they both spun when the front was off the ground and would not with wheels on ground. Ihave not tried it when moving I'll do that tomorrow. Thanks Bob and Tom.
