Is a 1936 flathead a 60 h.p.

Here in the States the V8-60 was introduced in '37 and took it's last production breath in 1940. DD

Roundy round motor. If you have one. 221 in 36, not the 85hp but close. To my understanding the 85hp did not start til mid yr 38 stock and 24 bolts. Mercs also went to 95hp

I believe the 37 was rated at 85 hp.
