Re: Head bolts
I wasn't removing my bolts, I was working on a customer's car. The bolts have never been a problem removing them. I am going to do a gasket job on the 31 S/W in a week or so that has bolts, but they come out without a problem. I never thought of a part number as my dad had so many Chevy small blocks that he had buckets of the bolts. I will try to identify what the part number would be. I don't work on Chevy's so it may take a little while.

Re: Head bolts
If all else fails they have companies that specialize in removing broken studs, at least they do in southern California. Ask at your machine shop. Not cheap.

Re: Head bolts
Instead of a part number, how about a length spec, that would work.

Re: Head bolts
That bees wax trick is how they get the studs out of exhaust manifolds. I have seen them do that on youtube.
