Be absolutely sure you are talking with the factory rep. There is a tire re-seller that
has fashioned his site to appear like the factory.....Took me a while to shake loose of
this re-seller. Cannot recall his ID after 2 years......Love the DB tires.

For Radials I'd surely go with BD. Coker seems to have lost my business and they are just up the road from me. Ever Since Wade Kawasaki took over Coker Tires, it seems to have lost the friendly aspect.

That's sad Michael....especially given your geography! Think I heard through friends that "Cokie" was......and probably still is.... a true gentleman.

i buy them direct
always order wide white radials with the extra beauty ring gives them a bias look
they balance well
have them on my 40 coupe and 50 merc
my preference over cooker radials that i originally put on the merc

I understand that if you buy through either Jeggs or Summit(don't remember which one) that there is no shipping charge

I never seen DB tires on Summit or Jegs. Coker, yes.

"Buyout of Coker Tire, Wheel Vintiques, Universal Vintage Tire, Phoenix Race Tires, Specialty Wheel and Roadster Wire Wheel brands", that's a lot of brands. DB is kind of it for radials, I still have Lucas tire for bias.

Don't think that there is any such thing as a 'Diamond back tire'
All DB does is provide a service that applies white/red sidewalls to existing already manufactured tires from various manufacturers.
Unless you ask, you probably can't tell which brand of tires you actually have.

Got my Diamond Backs through Discount Tire, same price as ordering direct. They mounted and balanced them plus you get free flats fixed.
