Default Got hoses hooked up wrong on power steering

I had the Control valve rebuilt on my 56 T-Bird. I must hve the bottom hoses hooked up wrong. When I started the car and turn the steering wheel the steering wheel started turning very rapid left and right very rapid. What did I do wrong? he only hoses that could be wrong is the two bottom hoses. I need help

Swap 'em and see if that fixes it.

I've had similar steering wheel movement from ram style systems from reversing the hoses. I had one that dumped all the fluid, but was ok when the hoses where reversed. It did the steering wheel dance too.

These two lower PS hoses have been hooked up this way since I got the car in '12, working good. ('55 Bird)

I switch the two bottom holes and the steering is fine noe. I had a friend give me 5 gallon of transmission fluid. He has 5, 5 gallon cans of the fluid.They close the mine where he worked and he got it there I guess. That save me some money.

I said to swap the hoses. You did and it fixed it. Glad you got it fixed.

Unrelated to your specific problem, but another weird thing that can happen is if the centering spring (under the control valve cap) is not adjusted properly, the steering wheel will turn one way or another all by itself when you start the engine depending on which way the the adjusting nut needs to be turned.
But never mind this for now, unless and until that ever happens (usually after re-installing a rebuilt control valve).
