Default Hershey 2010 locations...

It would be nice if all Ford Barn Vendors could reply to this thread with their locations at Hershey. I, for one, like to mark up a map before I arrive so I can visit all of you and hopefully drop a little cash here and there. Thanks!!

I am sure there are others who will know way better than I do where to stay and how to get around Hershey. And I am close enough to drive. But here's an RV site review page that might help-I suspect the close ones have been booked for years-but with the economy these days, who knows:
http://www.rvparkreviews.com/regions...a/Hershey.html

This year the meet is October 6-9. Meet registration is already closed. If you want to see the flea market, you "can" do it in one day-I did it, was hauling and was really tired-and I am 61. But a couple of days is better. However, if you want to see the restored cars and judging you need to be there Saturday and most vendors have shut down or gone.

Make absolutely sure you have rain gear, comfortable shoes, sunblock, stuff to carry your finds, snacks and money. If you have time, take in the AACA museum

Not sure how you feel about the hotrod end of our hobby, but over on the HAMB,Chevygirlrox has an ongoing thread about HAMBer sites at Hershey-

http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...y+chevygirlrox

Have a great time.

Megan has done a great job with the Hershey maps over on the HAMB. Nice thing about that feature is the fact you can locate a friendly spot to leave heavy items so you can continue looking for more stuff. Nothing worse that lugging stuff back to the car/truck and loosing hunting time.

The road to Hershey starts this weekend for me. First stop Australia to pick up my nephew and then onto LA and the drive across America.

I hope to meet many of you, either along the way or at Hershey.

Keep a lookout for the New Zealand flag on the back of my pack.

Regard Richard

I always enjoy seeing flags from other countries in backbacks at Hershey! Hope your trip across the USA is as much fun as the two I've taken. Please stop by C4J-41-42 and say hello. Our daughter enjoyed a week driving around New Zealand.
