Default 32 Ford 3W deck lid pivot pins

The original 88 year old pivot pins for my 3W deck lid were worn out. The worn (hinge) pins were removed and quickly lost. I need to replace them with the correct length pins. Anyone know what length the pins should be? Thanks,

Short pins are 1", A bit long at 1 3/4". Need to trim them back to about 1 3/8"

When I did my 3 window, several of my roadsters and my 5 window I had the machine shop make me some special pivot bolts with a shoulder that I could adjust to help keep the deck lid centered in the opening. I did this on my original bodied cars and on all the Brookville package roadsters I built for customers.

I'd like to convert the rumble lid on my 32 to a trunk mount. Any pictures would be helpful. Does anyone sell such a bracket kit? Don't remember seeing anything from Brookville, but I can't find my catalog right now.

Krylon32, It sounds like a good idea. I guess I'm blessed, the deck lid I just installed (NOS own it 40 years) fits like it was born there. I thought I would need spacers on the pivot pins but after installation it is centered and doesn't move side to side. This is the unintended consequence of pins that are too long (1 3/4") and come into contact with the lid. I need to shorten the pins by about 1/8" to eliminate the interference.
