I stumbled across this yesterday. Northern Tool has a 12 volt BatterMINDer (charges battery at 1.3 amps, then maintains it and desulfitates it) on sale for $19 at their online store. If you take the ad to your local store, if you have one nearby, they will honor the online price.

This won't work on your 6 volt cars. I have used a few on my more modern 12 volt antique and on my wife's jet skis. They do a good job.

Thanks Jim, that will help on my later 86 pickup and the 76 Bolens tractor. I have a 6v battery tender to use on the Model A. The 12 v battery tender I have now never seems to go over 80% charge. No problem with the 6v. unit however, always gets over 80%.
