Default 34 Tailite wiring

34 ford with two tail lites. The crossover wire to right tail lite. What is the proper or original location/. tO THE CROSSMEMBER, FRONT OR BACK SIDE/. Thanks for any help. Stan

The back lip of the rear cross member attached with two short (1 1/8" overall length) spring steel clips (one per side about half way between the center and outer end of the cross member). Originally, the wires from the tail lamps were not long enough to connect to the crossover harness if it were routed in front of the rear cross member.

P.S. If you need the clips, Michael Driskell of Third Gen automotive (thirdgenauto.com) has them in stock as I am ordering some as well. His part number for them is B-14586-ST.
