Default 4th annual Washington State E vs W Flathead reliability run Sept 14th 2013!!!

We had a great year this year folks! The weather was clear and HOT! A little too hot for me personally but better then cold and rainy! Going back through Ephrata the sign said 102 degrees!!! We had a record ammount of cars, I love that this event grows bigger and better every year. The quality of cars is outstanding as well. We are having stuff show up that we have never seen! Thanks to EVERYONE who came and supported us!
The official count was West side 36, East side 66. Although like past years, there was well over 100 cars counted, so some people are not signing up. We also sold out of T shirts again...thanks for that- that alone is what puts this run on and keeps it going. A 5th annual is in the works...we have talked about moving it to another location to keep it "fresh"...any ideas out there on something central and that the town would also welcome us?? Feel free to post here or PM me. We will see.

Again, thanks to everyone who came out, I think everyone had a great time!!

Heading there:

Thanks for the pix!
Great get-together and thanks for dreaming it up.
How about Issaquah next year?
That would give the West a chance to win! (just kidding)
Maybe some place down around Yakima...but out of town a ways.
That would keep a lot of us off the freeway which would be really nice.
I've made 'em all so far and will be there next year too.

Great pictures. Wish I could have been there.

I considered driving my 45 1/2 ton up from Central Oregon, but was busy fabricating new shock mounts for the front. The work never ends. Maybe next year.

That was my first time there, there were some very nice rides that came.

The pictures are great, I took about 95 pictures myself and posted them on my Facebook page. Blustery's has a really nice breakfast, Denver omelet, crispy hash browns, and toast, washed down with coffee.

We did another show today and those of us that did the flathead run, were asking each other how many cars and who won.

Does anyone know how many cars and who won?

Got to give credit to the Gorilla and the Rabbit band for playing in those suits, in 100 plus degree weather, they need a lot more practice.

From the 1st post by Chris:
"Thanks to EVERYONE who came and supported us!

As far as the band "they need a lot more practice. " That is putting it kindly ! They certainly helped us decide how long / short before we left. In the end it was a great time and thank you Chris for putting it together.

Thanks Uncle Buck, I read that paragraph 3 times and still missed it.

I did notice people leaving when the band started playing and we followed.

Yeah...that band and their NOISE helped us decide to split.
Over all a great get-together.

I think it was a Crosley Hot Shot.
Had a V8 60 in it.
That rig was spotless...didn't even have bugs on it like the rest of us.

That is is correct ... including it was spottless. I don't have any idea how far it was driven, but it was clean and man was it cool

I was there and had a good time even my wife enjoyed looking at the cars. It was a hot day in the mid 90s and the old 49 never went past mid way on the temp gauge.
