Good Afternoon Guys,
I am curious as how to remove the dome light in my 1930 Model A coupe ?
Actually I only need to drop it down a bit to tuck in the headliner on one side of the light. It has the glass dome and the switch is the sliding type on the perimeter of the metal. Any help greatly appreciated !

Pop the cover as if your replacing the bulb, should be a couple of screws holding it to the wood backer. This is how my non standard dome light is in my Tudor

Thanks for your reply ! So your saying that I can pry the medal ring away from the headliner, out of the housing which is attached to the backer board with a couple of screws ? So the cover is an interference fit in that housing ?

Looking at Brattons online catalog they show a retaining ring that holds the lens in place. My non standard light rectangular light you just squeeze the sides of the plastic lens and pull it down.

Just an expanding retaining ring holding the glass. Hold it to keep it from turning and pull an end down with an awl. Glass drops out. Three screws into the wood.
