Chuck Berry died
Sorta early Ford related!
“St. Charles County police responded to a medical emergency on Buckner Road at approximately 12:40 p.m. today (Saturday, March 18),” the police department said in a statement. “Inside the home, first responders observed an unresponsive man and immediately administered lifesaving techniques. Unfortunately, the 90-year-old man could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at 1:26 p.m. “The St. Charles County Police Department sadly confirms the death of Charles Edward Anderson Berry Sr., better known as legendary musician Chuck Berry.” Last edited by JSeery; 03-18-2017 at 07:08 PM. |

Re: Chuck Berry died
nothin outrun my V8 fod" (long "O" no R in Ford!)
Sad to hear, but inevitable. He had a great 90 years. Last edited by deuce_roadster; 03-19-2017 at 11:05 AM. Reason: Chuck's pronounciation of "Ford" |

Re: Chuck Berry died
Sad....Fond memories of Chuck. I use to love 'draggin main' in my '52 with his tunes blaring from the new rear seat speaker I installed when I was 16....

Re: Chuck Berry died
First one to sing about a safety belt but I think he was really referring to a bra hasp.

Re: Chuck Berry died
I had a friend in New Orleans many years ago with a '32 3-window coupe, a "real deal" hot rod back then that he always called "Maybelline". DD

Re: Chuck Berry died
Think I'll put on the Chuck Berry 'disc', just soon as Johnny Cash is done....
Yup, KING, for sure, as Elvis, Buddy Holley et al....were influenced and imitated him. Rest in peace Chuck, but won't miss you, because you will be singing here for as long as things hold up !! |
