Default 7RC-3134 F-1 spindle steering arm

Anyone have a spare one of these they would be willing to part with? (for a '48 F-1)
Ball condition not terribly important, I'm going to replace it anyway.
Thanks.

Have you checked with Chuck's Trucks? He bought up JobLot's inventory when they closed.

I'm curious why you need one? Can't imagine it got bent, they are super stout.

I wonder if a passenger spindle would work?? Then you could convert to cross steering. Using a 525 box,

Haven't talked to them (Chuck's Trucks).

I want to take a closer look at this "ball" job at the far end of that arm....
but I don't want to tie up the truck to do it.

Might check with Sid,s in OK. Don't think he sells these type of parts, but they do modify F1 front ends and may have one that was removed.

The ball is pressed in and welded on F-1's, not a fun job to replace. Not sure you can even buy new balls. On the bigger trucks it is bolted in.

The ball on my arm was worn out of round many years ago. With no replacements available I had a machine shop press it out, rotate to make the most of the unworn portion, and press back in. Still going well on its second life ...
